Write for us
Bold Showbiz Review welcomes pitches that make the workings of entertainment easier to see: a sharp question, a clear angle and a subject that stays useful beyond a single news cycle.
What to pitch
We are interested in original explanatory pieces about show formats, production planning, publicity choices, performance conventions and audience experience. A good pitch identifies its central question, explains why it matters to a general reader and shows how its subject differs from familiar coverage.
What makes a strong proposal
Keep the idea focused and specific. Tell us the proposed approach, the reader it serves and any sources or examples you expect to use. Avoid pitches that depend on gossip, unverified claims, access you do not have or a promised verdict about a show.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a working title and a short summary; please do not send a complete unsolicited manuscript. We will consider proposals on their merits, without promising publication.
The spectacle has a structure.
We look beyond the finished act to the choices that shape it: its format, preparation, presentation and relationship with an audience.
